Mind Map
As a group we had many ideas, from all the ideas we had we decided to pick 'The day I died by Just Jack' . This is because it has no video and we though we would make our own interpretation of the song.
Take me to church by Hozier
Unfortunately due to the ideas being unoriginal our group decided to change the song. After a length discussion we picked 'Take me to church' by Hozier. The main objective of the music video was to present a mysterious aura, for this reason we shot the whole video in black and white.
lyric annotation
This was our first attempt at a lyric annotation.
So we could elaborate our idea we made another lyric annotation which is in more detail.
First pitch
Above was our first pitch, unfortunately due to too many similarities between our ideas and another interpretation of the song we did not use this song as we aimed to be original.
Final pitch
After deliberating we came to a final decision of our song, which was 'take me to church' by Hozier. We picked this song because our individual interpretation of the lyrics are very different from the official music video.
Mind maps
Below is the main mind maps, however other mind maps were made and put into the pitch's. They include lots of important information, if you would like to view them they are within a pitch that we made which is linked above this.

To ensure that the plan was clear, I made 3 storyboards. One was included within the pitch, one was generated on a computer and the other was hand drawn.

Production schedule
This document specifies when and what we filmed.
Date of filming
What we filmed
2/12/15
We filmed the majority of abstract cut-aways this day. These includes the trees, the traffic, and the gate.
4/12/15
This day we filmed the feet walking clips.
5/12/15
This was a saturday and we filmed historical buildings in Bath and large crowds of people.
9/12/15
This is when the narrative filming started. On this day we filmed the bench clips, holding hand clips and walking clips.
10/12/15
On this day we continued filming the narrative clips, this included the fighting clips.
11/12/15
On this day we filmed the apologie clip and the plotting clips.
12/12/15
This is when the close up were shot as the character needed some emotion.
14/12/15
We filmed the abstract cut away of the sink this day, we also filmed the argument scene.
15/12/15
This is when we realised all of filming was completed. However we had forgot a clip with the hand dryer in. This was necessary as it looks as though our character did not dry their hands. Therefore on this day we went back to shot it.
